Christopher Raymond Holloway, 34, died Friday February 10, 2023 at TMC. He had Marfans Syndrome and had recently been in Baylor Heart hospital. Christopher was born in Riverdale, Georgia, Friday December 16, 1988 to Kimberly Elaine Mcfarland and Harry Raymond Holloway.
The Family moved to Denison in 2003 and this is where many friendships were formed and memories made. Christopher was a big, handsome guy with a big brain and a big heart and soul. He was such a nature and animal loving person. He was kind, caring and gentle. Chris graduated from Denison High School with many honors and attended Baylor University. He came home to Grayson College, he didn’t complete his degree due to health and life, but he was a student to the end. He was also a professor of life, and taught us all so many lessons. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray and his Nanny Paulette who were there to embrace him, just like when he was born. As well as many other family members and friends. He leaves behind his equally smart, handsome young son Baxton Lane Kourt of Dension; wife Fallon Laymon Holloway of Denison; Mother Kimberly McFarland Holloway of Denison; brother Coleman Reed Holloway of Denison, and our Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins and all extended family as well as all of his pets: A corgi named Rowdy, 4 grown cats named Ben, Oliver, Tormund and Edward.
The Family will hold a service to honor and celebrate Christopher in the coming weeks. No details yet. Please gather your photos, songs, stories to share and anything else to share with the family. There is a GoFundMe set up on Facebook for the family of Christopher.
And Remember this. If Christopher was ever your friend, he still is. And if He ever loved you, well, he still does.
