I am sure I am not the only adult who enjoys watching Bluey.

It is graduation season in Texoma once again, and in the coming days students across the region will take the first steps into the next chapter of their lives. While it has been more than 20 years since I was in high school, the memories of when I graduated in the early 2000s still feel fresh to this day.

This past Sunday was the unofficial holiday for fans of Star Wars, and I was sure to celebrate one of my favorite film franchises by sitting down with some friends to watch an old favorite.

It is the time of year again when voters will have their voices heard when they hit the polls this weekend. Cities, school districts and other municipalities will be holding spring elections this weekend and will be asking residents to weigh in on a variety of issues.
This weekend, I got to do a few things that I do not normally get to do. The first was taking time off, and the second was attending an event.

It seems that just as soon as one election cycle ends, a new one begins. Without a break, it seems like local officials, political party members and future leaders are asking area residents to take up certain issues and vote.
