When our government overreaches, becomes corrupt, breaks laws and the Constitution, we the people have a right and a duty to publicly assemble and express our grievances. During the NO KINGS rally in Sherman on June 14, our community came together to express concern and give voice to our objections to government abuses.

It’s Fourth of July weekend, and for so many people that means barbecue and family. It means spending time outdoors and enjoying the summer and the lake season. While all those things are great, Independence Day is about so much more.
