WHITESBORO - Leo Andrews, 92, of Whitesboro, TX was called home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 4, 2022. Leo was born on February 25, 1930 in Denison, TX to Cleburne and Mamie (Morrison) Andrews.

Lavonia Pearl (McKenzie) Burk was born on April 14, 1927, in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Asa and Annie (Lowery) McKenzie. Sis, as she was known by most, passed away on April 3, 2022. She was only 11 days away from her 95th birthday.

DENISON - Harriet Joyce (Lemonds) Steward, of Denison, Texas entered into her eternal home on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born on Sunday, November 27, 1938 in Durant, Oklahoma to Thomas Doyle and Bernice (Scott) Lemonds.

DENISON - Wayne was born September 5th, 1933 at St. Vincents Hospital in Sherman, Texas to Laura Pemberton Delaney and Milton Loyd Delaney. He passed away at home, April 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. His brother was M. Loyd Delaney. Wayne married Mary Maxine Leslie on August 15, 1953 at East Sherman Baptist Church of Sherman, Texas. Wayne and Mary had three daughters, Karen Sylvester and husband Robert of Denison, Texas; Julie Blount and husband Larry of Denison, Texas; and Laura Adams and husband Larry of San Antonio, Texas.

Evelyn Voight, born on August 28, 1922 to Kurt and Maud Voight in Dallas, Texas, passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 31, 2022 in Denison, Texas. On April 13, 1941, Evelyn married James Henry Crawford in Dallas, Texas.

DENISON - Jurdenia Jewel “Jerry” Geisler went to be with her Lord at the age of 95 on Friday, April 1, 2022. Jerry was born in Alba, Texas on April 13, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Shelton) Henderson.

Juanita Grace Scribner, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022. Juanita was born on January 27, 1933, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Haskel and Maggie McWherter.

PLANO - Barbara Ann Whitt née Smith of Plano, Texas passed away the morning of March 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Barbara was born December 9, 1943 to Warren and Mary Inez Smith. Barbara grew up near Bokchito in southern Oklahoma. She had a modest upbringing but was dedicated and a hard worker; after graduating top of her class from high school in 1962 and with the help of her big brother, James, she was able to attend Southeastern State College in Durant where she earned her bachelor’s degree in home economics in 1966. While at Southeastern, Barbara caught the eye of Glen Whitt, whom she married in 1968. After being drafted into the military Glen attended officer school he and Barbara moved many times in their first years of marriage. While stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, Barbara gave birth to their son, Jeff in 1969. The young family then moved to Plano Texas after Glen returned from his deployment in Korea. In 1974, Barbara was again blessed by a beautiful baby girl, Amanda.
