Colton Edward McMillan

Colton Edward McMillan age 19 of Colbert Oklahoma passed away July 6 2022. Colton was born May 9 2003 to Brian and Lorri McMillan in Denison Texas. Colton loved the lake, loud trucks and music and going fast wherever he went. Most of all Colton loved his family and friends. Colton always had the biggest smile and goofiest laugh. Colton gave so much love to everyone in his life, if he called you friend it meant you were family to him.

Mary Charlotte Casteel

Mary Charlotte Casteel, 93, went peacefully to her heavenly home early Friday morning July 8, 2022. She was surrounded by the excellent caregivers of the Wheeler Place care facility in Gainesville, TX where she resided during her final years. Mary Charlotte was the only child of Otis and Jesse Goodson of Texarkana, Texas born August 1, 1928. She graduated from high school in Texarkana and went on to graduate from Southern Methodist University. Upon graduating she went to work for Lone Star Gas where she spent most of her career. In 1953 she married Alva Casteel and resided in Sherman, Texas. Mary Charlotte had a love for her animals, planning and hosting parties, and having happy hour with her friends. She was an avid traveler and chef and spent many years traveling the world, cooking for others, and playing bridge with her friends and family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sherman, Texas where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 21st, 2022, at 11:00 am. Mary Charlotte is survived by her nephews, Bob and Larry Cheatham, their families, and a host of many close friends and caregivers.
