‘I need my Monster’: Trenton ISD students bring artwork to life
At the beginning of the school year when Trenton Elementary School kindergarteners were read the story " I need my Monster" by Amanda Noll, they had no idea that the monsters from their imaginations could come to life and take on a story of their own. But, that is exactly what those monsters did.

Ramp Closure Notification – Northbound US 75 Exit 66 to E Spur 50
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials have announced an upcoming ramp closure and detour for travelers in Denison. Beginning the night of May 14, Exit 66 from Northbound US 75 to E Spur 503 will be closed to traffic until the new exit ramp is constructed.
Man sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for drug trafficking in Texas
A Jasper man has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for drug trafficking violations in the Eastern District of Texas.

Sherman approved $98k pavement, roadway assessment project
The city of Sherman is seeking outside assistance in planning for future pavement and road maintenance projects. In a unanimous vote Monday, the Sherman City Council approved a $98,500 contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates for services related to the city's ongoing pavement management program.
