$20 million HUD grant doubles size of eviction legal help
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Housing and Urban Development is doubling the size of its eviction protection program, designed to fund legal assistance for tenants seeking to stay in their homes.

Time capsule found at Woodmen Circle Home
A copy of the constitution, laws, and by-laws of the Supreme Forest Woodmen Circle was one of the items recently recovered from a time capsule at the former Woodmen Circle home. The time capsule was found within the walls of the former orphanage and widows home during the early stages of its demolition in early May. New Hagerman pavilion to be named in honor of Katie Palmer
Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge is back open and this week, the site will be dedicating its new pavilion to a volunteer who died in 2020. The grand opening of the pavilion Saturday is a part of a full day of events at the site.
