Monday, the Texas Department of Transportation began its nightly closures to place concrete barriers on US Highway 75 between FM 121 and Farmington Road. This week, TxDOT is also performing daytime closures of northbound and southbound US 75 between County Line Road and Farmington Road to conduct base repairs on the roadway.
Crews across North Texas continue cleanup efforts after a series of storms left damage and broken trees in their wake this weekend. Representatives for the National Weather Service and local communities reported extensive damage to trees across the region, but officials said the systems resulted in relatively light damage to structures.
Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced the closure of the Northbound US 75 right lane from FM 120 (Morton Street) to FM 84 (Texoma Drive) as well as Exit 70 - Texoma Drive starting on Sunday, May 18, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and remaining closed until Tuesday, May 20, at 6 a.m.
