DDA eyes new development sites as business park fills
As construction begins on Denison's latest addition to Denison's industrial base, the city's economic development arm is looking forward to the next hub of development. Construction began last week on Wayne Cabaniss Drive for a new 80,000-square-foot production site for J&L Wire, who plan to produce wire shelving units at the site.

Alternating lane closures on US 82, US 75 to end
Back at the beginning on July, the Texas Department of Transportation began alternating lane closures for mobile operation on both US Highway 75 and US Highway 82. The moving lane closure operation will come to an end on Aug. 2 and Aug. 5, respectively.
Texoma Regional Blood Mobile July calendar
The Texoma Regional Blood Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The blood center is located 3911 Texoma Parkway in Sherman.
Community back-to-school bash scheduled for Aug. 10
The second back-to-school bash hosted by Beyond the Walls Outreach and T-Koolz is scheduled to take place Aug. 10 at Kidd-Key Lawn on the Sherman Municipal Building grounds.
