Registration is underway for the 19th annual Sherman Education Foundation Arts Fest 5K and Bubble-K Fun Run, which will be held on Saturday, September 21 at Piner Middle School in Sherman. The race benefits the Sherman Education Foundation in their efforts to support Sherman ISD teachers, staff and students. SEF provides grant funding to SISD educators to enhance the learning experience and opportunities available for SISD students. Each year, teachers have the opportunity to apply for grants that boost creativity and innovation in SISD classrooms. In addition to supporting a great cause, the Arts Fest 5K and Bubble-K Fun Run is an excellent opportunity for children and adults to get some physical exercise.
Sherman ISD is actively engaging with students, parents, community members and staff to envision the district's brand-new Early Childhood Center, which will offer a comprehensive, imaginative and immersive learning atmosphere for the district’s youngest students.
