Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service presents 1st Annual Grayson County Hay Show at Texoma Exposition and Livestock Show Grounds in Denison

The 1st Annual Grayson County Hay Show will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Denison. The event, brought to you by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Grayson County will be offered from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on at the Mayor’s Arena inside the Texoma Exposition and Livestock Show, 1022 RC Vaughn Rd, Denison.

Friends of Hagerman awarded 2025 O'Brien Prize for Refuge Friends

The Friends of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in Sherman was recently announced as the 2025 O'Brien Prize winner for refuge friends. The award was given to Friends of Hagerman because of "their visionary work launching a citizen science bioacoustic bat monitoring program at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in Sherman, Texas." The award comes with a $6,000 grant that will go towards the site's Music of the Night program to further help the site's ability to monitor bat populations and engage with community volunteers.
