The Snow Moon became full on Sunday (Feb. 5) at 12:30 p.m. February can be the most wintry of all the months, often with heavy snow. Some Native Americans called the February moon the Hungry Moon. It was tough to hunt in deeper snows and the next meal could be difficult to find.

Grandparents make little effort to see grandkids
