Charles Farris, 82, made a career out of building and repairing things. Now in retirement, he makes a practice of using those skills for others in need Farris was raised in Fannin County and is the son of Charlie and Lois Farris. He has been a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Howe for more than 30 years. As a part of that position, he helps when members of the church need things that match with his skill set.
