Dear Neil: Why is my Chinaberry tree losing its bark? It also doesn’t look very healthy. I’m seeing tiny black insects on its trunk. I’m watering it carefully in the hopes of saving it. What would you suggest? I haven’t seen you write much about it, and I don’t find much online.

Pentecost is the festival that takes place 50 days after Passover. It’s the celebration of the wheat harvest. Having a good crop of wheat was worth celebrating, and still is. It means there will be enough bread to eat. If there’s a good harvest of wheat, it indicates it may be a good year for the rest of the crops.

DEAR ABBY: My partner, “Josh,” and I (we’re both male) have been together for two years. We met while living in LA and were fortunate to be accepted to grad schools in NYC. We’re not living together now as our schools are in different boroughs, but we see each other most weekends.

DEAR DR. ROACH: I am 71. In November 2021, my cardiologist prescribed me 40 mg of atorvastatin in case of chest pain before any tests. I subsequently had a stress test with perfusion that came out negative, as did an echocardiogram (TTE). My coronary calcium score is 83. I rejected a recommended cardiac catheterization, as I wanted to avoid stents and the required blood thinners.
