Billy Charles Powell. 83 of Denison, passed away and was found Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Sherman, Texas.

Mr. Powell was born August 19, 1939, in Denison, Texas, the son of Paul and Mildred Powell. Billy worked in scrap metal all his life. For many years, he was a caregiver for his wife and brother.

Billy was a good man. He enjoyed sharing jokes and laughter with his family and friends. Billy will be missed. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Lucille, brother, Ray Powell, and stepson, John Milton Smith.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Savoy, Texas. There is no viewing or set time for visitation.
