Audrey “Lavon” Hunt passed away peacefully on August 25, 2022. She was 3 weeks away from turning 101. Audrey was born September 15, 1921 to Hugh and Lela Roberts on a farm outside of Celina, TX.

Audrey attended Prosper Schools and was known to family and friends as Lavon. She was well known for her homemade pies and cinnamon rolls and loved cooking for her family.

Lavon was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Weldon Hunt, her parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister and son-in-law Guy Tucker.

Lavon is survived by her 3 children Lanny Hunt and Laura of Laguna Niguel, Audrey Tucker of Sherman, TX and Nancy and Mike Jackson of New Braunfels, TX, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Lavon will be laid to rest next to her husband Weldon at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Pkwy, Sherman, TX 75090.
