1945-2023

Anita Jan Hughes went to be with her Lord on May 1, 2023 She was born September 23, 1945 in Blytheville Arkansas. Jan is survived by her sister Pat Counce and husband Jim of Sherman Texas. One grandson Jonathan Palmer and Julie and David Ponder.

Jan retired from the City of Sherman on February 27, 2009. Jan is proceeded in death by her daughter Kimberly Palmer of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Jan loved gardening and antiques. She was loved and will be missed. She leaves cousins from Arkansas and Tennessee and a niece, Laurie Hughes from Georgetown, Texas. A memorial will be held June 24th at 11 AM at Park Hill Baptist Church at 201 E. “C” Street in North Little Rock Arkansas where Jan had been a long time member. Jan moved to North Little Rock to be with her daughter.
