While certainly not the best digital image of the day, this simple iPhone photo shows the long awaited total solar eclipse in nearby Fannin County on Monday, April 8, 2024. As the period of totality began earlier in the week, skies above Bonham were mostly cloudy. But mere moments later, those same skies were mostly clear from horizon to horizon as the heavens above put on a spectacular display that thrilled countless local residents and visitors who came to witness the once in a lifetime event here in Texomaland.
