Lucas Nathan Drews was born on June 29, 2018 to John Wesley Drews and Maria Helen Drews. He has lived in Katy for the entirety of his life where his family was a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. He was baptized there on January 13, 2019. Lucas enjoyed being outside in the country, playing in the sand and riding his bike. He adored his big brother, Jacob. Lucas was also a lover of vanilla ice cream. Like most little boys, he loved cars and trucks.

He was treasured by his entire family and will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting and loving him. Lucas Nathan Drews passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, in Katy, at the age of four. He is survived by his parents, John and Maria Drews of Katy; brother, Jacob Drews of Katy; grandparents, Diane Drews and her husband Jerry of Spring, Cathy Nietling and her husband Rick Kline of Denison, and Dennis Nietling and his wife Regina of Denison, great grandparents Ralph and Letha Terrell of Calera, Ok; as well as many aunts and uncles and his beloved pets, Buddy and Lola. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church Kingsland location with Rev. Whitney Peper officiating.
