1948-2023

Patricia Jean Drain Plumlee, age 74, passed away peacefully from a massive stroke on Monday March 6, 2023. Pat had the stroke on Friday February 17, 2023 and GOD gave her family 17 days to be at her side at her residence before her passing. She was born to Otis E. Drain SR. and Mary Scrivner Drain in Sherman, Texas on July 15, 1948. Pat married Melvin V. Plumlee on August 28, 1965 and were married for 53 years at the time of his passing in 2018. Pat was a high school graduate and also had a Bachelor’s Degree. She was formerly employed in the Health care industry as a nurse. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Pat was a caregiver to her patients and her family. Left to cherish her memory is her son; William V. Plumlee & Napoleon Moses of Torrance, CA, her sisters;Brenda Drain, Myrtle Lynn Reid, and Judith Ann Drain all of Sherman, Texas and her beloved cat Emmy and other extended family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Mary Drain SR, her husband Melvin V. Plumlee, her brother Otis E. Drain JR, brother-in-law William Reid, sister-in-law Kathleen Beale and sister-in-law Brenda Drain. Pat is being cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
