Robert Bruce McAlister

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Robert Bruce McAlister on November 24, 2022, at the young age of 54. Robert was born in Denison, Texas, to Father Robert Dean McAlister and Mother Sheila Dianne Frazier McAlister-Stout on March 4, 1968. Never leaving Denison, he was very well known and loved by many.

After being employed at Piggly Wiggly in his early days and working at Alcoa as an Extruder Operator. Robert discovered his love for truck driving in 2008. He started his driving adventures at DOT Foods until his final days at Expo Logistics. He was loved by all whoever had the pleasure to hear his very witty remarks and jokes or see his cheeky smile.

Most people who knew Bruce knew his love for loud cars, and even louder rock & roll music. He was humble and enjoyed sitting at home watching tv with his cat Maggie after a long day’s work. Above all he loved his family!

He was an excellent father to his one and only daughter Jessica McAlister, his heart would melt every time she called him Daddy. He was always so proud of her accomplishments, and who she had become.

He was a perfect family man and cared deeply for his nieces and nephews. He never forgot to bring his mother flowers on Mother’s Day, or a smile to her face. He never missed the opportunity to give his baby sister a hard time when it was needed andcalling her Jada bug when he knew she didn’t like it. He was a man who was loved by many, to whom he loved back 100x more.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Dean McAlister, stepfather Jimmie Stout, grandparents Inez and Frank Frazier and Frankie and Clarence McAlister, great grandmother Nancy Brown and Aunt Rena Bowman

He is survived by his mother Sheila Dianne Frazier McAlister-Stout, daughter Jessica Payge McAlister, sister Jada Flores and Brother-n-law Johnny Flores Jr, Anthony & Megan Flores and their children Madison & Henry, Rebecca & Dustin Daughrity and their child Lacey Sara & Aaron Morales and their children Aden & Mason
