Born July 27, 1952 to Sophie and Michael Wheeler in Denison Texas He began his career in 1971 with the MKT railroad ending with Union Pacific as an engineer. He retired May 3, 2005. He had a passion for trains, playing W.P.T, and enjoying many different casino resorts. He loved fishing trips and vacationing with nephew Aaron Phillips and family. He loved to joke and always had a smile on his face.

Mark is survived by two daughters, Dana Wheeler and Misty Shultz; husband Michael of Denison Texas. 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren. Sisters Carolyn Phillips of Mason Texas, Susan Sanders of Cartwright Oklahoma. Brother, John Michael Wheeler of Arlington Texas. Many nephews and nieces and life long friends. He is preceded by his mother, father and sister Linda Annette Phillips. Tragically and unexpectedly, with his daughters at his side, he passed from this life to the next.
