David Michael Judkins of Sherman, TX passed away at the age of 83 on July 25th, 2022.

David was born on December 8th, 1938, in Oklahoma City, OK, where he attended and graduated from Putnam City High School and also participated in football, wrestling and baseball.

After High School he attended the University of Oklahoma before joining the U.S. Army – Military Police in Canine Corp. Later, David graduated with a business degree from Central State University.

David married Zee Judkins in Oklahoma City, OK on August 20th, 1965, and spent 57 wonderful years joined together.

After retiring from a well-established career at the YMCA, David then spent another 14 years staying busy with a “part-time” job working for the Grayson County DA’s office.

He served as Deacon at West Sherman Baptist Church, but most of all David loved spending time with his family, wife, kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His favorite thing to do was take everyone fishing!

David was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Rebecca Judkins as well as his brother, Raymond Judkins.

David is survived by wife, Zelvia Judkins; Son Mark Judkins; Son and wife Tim and Angie Judkins.

Grandchildren, Karly Dunbar and husband Brady, Kody Judkins and wife Hannah, Austin Price and wife Tabitha, Caleb Judkins, Kyler Judkins, Brooke Price; Great Grandchildren Mabry and Halle Judkins; Brothers Gene and Wayne Judkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at West Sherman Baptist Church, 1830 West Washington St. Sherman, TX 75092. Casual dress.

Snacks and drinks will be served.
