Elizabeth “Beth” Marie Collins, 69, of Denison, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2022.

Beth was born on October 26, 1952, to Marlan and Marie Ball in Denison, Texas.

Beth is preceded in death by both of her parents, Marlan and Marie Ball, her husband, James Collins, six of her siblings including Charles Vaughn Glynnia Mcgill, Clifford Vaughn, Claudine Vaughn, Norma Vaughn, Lester Vaughn and her nephew, Dan Moody. She is survived by her brother, Larry Phillips, her niece, Linda Maestas, great nieces Angela and Heather, as well as her loving great niece, Amy Johnson, her husband, Stubs Johnson, and her two children, Will and Cambria.

Beth met the love of her life, James Collins, at Denison High School and the two wed after graduation. Beth worked for many years as a seamstress at Levi Strauss and her employment there was even featured in the local newspaper.

In her later years, Beth became an avid student of the Bible and joined the North Sign Language congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in McKinney, Texas. She loved to crochet, weave, and make gifts for her family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed butterflies and laughing with anyone that would have a conversation with her. Beth was very loyal to those she loved and trusted. We will miss her very much!

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
