On Monday, June 20, 2022, Gayle (Frietsch) Radican loving wife, mother, and mimi went home to be with Our Lord and Savior at the age 60. Gayle was born on May 28, 1962 in Denison, Texas to Werner and Nita (Petrash) Frietsch. Gayle graduated from Denison High School in 1980. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from North Texas University. On June 21, 1997 she married the love of her life, James Ray Radican of Bells, Texas while gaining two daughters, Jennifer and Holly. Together they had one son, Taylor James Radican.
Gayle had a passion for golf. She started the golf program at Denison High School. She was well on her way to qualifying for the L.P.G.A. card. As a child, she loved spending time at the family ranch with her mom learning how to ride a horse. She loved visiting her extended family in Schulenburg, Texas where she loved eating good German food. Gayle enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends at the lake boating, jet skiing and swimming. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Michael’s and All Angels Catholic Church in Denison. She never met a stranger; she had a smile and loving words for everyone she ever met.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Werner and Nita Frietsch; brother, Carl Frietsch; sister, Marsha Shock.
She is survived by her husband, James Radican; children, Jennifer Tripp and husband Patrick, Holly Farrell and husband David, and Taylor Radican; grandchildren, Kalee, Gracee, Avree, Paxton and Caleb Farrell, Hayden Tawwater, Danny Melrose, Christian, MaKayla, and MaKenzie Tripp; sister-in-law, Sarah Frietsch; nephew, John Frietsch; childhood best friend, Kathy Hawley and husband David, loyal friend and caregiver, Susan McGough and husband Randy.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mullican Little Funeral Home, 754 State Hwy 56 E., Bells, Texas 75414. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Mullican Little Funeral Home.
