SHERMAN – Elder Melvin Cecil Bowen age 72 of Sherman ascended to his eternal home Tuesday, April 12 at his residence following an extended illness.

A public visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 1 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Waldo Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 23 at 11 A.M. in the Fellowship Baptist Church – 1615 S. Travis St. Sherman. Rev. Gahlen Warren is the Host Pastor, and Elder James Ezell will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Whiterock Cemetery, Whiterock community Texas.
