DENISON – Leatrice Sager, 89, died at her home in Denison on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Leatrice was born the daughter of James Monroe and Barnie (Greene) Bond on December 2, 1932 in Sadler, Texas. She graduated from Denison Senior High School in 1950 and attended Grayson County College. Leatrice was married to Bill M. Sager on December 28, 1971, he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker, a volunteer for the Denison Concert Association, member and organizer for Pink Ladies TMC for 13 years, she was instrumental in raising funds to cover Waterloo Pool, of the Methodist faith and loved her family.

Leatrice is survived by her son, Larry Kostyniak and his wife, Gretchen of Arlington, TX; daughter, Deena White of Denison; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. The family has asked that those attending, please dress casually.
