SHERMAN – Gregory Lynn Carroll, 62, of Sherman, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, April 1st, 2022.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at West Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jessica Wright of First UMC Allen officiating. Arrangements were made by Dannel Funeral Home. Gregory Lynn Carroll was born in Dallas, Texas

Gregory Lynn Carroll was born in Dallas, Texas on December 5th, 1959 and was the son of Jack and Bobbie Carroll. He owned Carroll Real Estate and worked as a real estate broker in Texas and Oklahoma for many years. He was also a member of the Greater Texoma Association of REALTORS®. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. He especially enjoyed trips to Colorado on ski trips & spending time deer hunting with his family. Greg spent many hours at Lake Texoma in his earlier years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bobbie Carroll.

He is survived by his sister, Angie Carroll Frost and husband Robert, his nephew David Frost, niece Ashley Frost, niece Kandice Perez and husband Steven, great nephews Jack and John Perez, partner Beverly Pugh and their beloved dog Porsha. Greg was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic

Greg was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas, TX. It is called Saint Patrick Catholic Community. Jack Caolo of Dallas became his sponsor and became his godfather when he was baptized Catholic. Greg graduated from Sherman High School in
