The city of Denison continues to rebuild following the downtown fire in 2019. The Oct. 9 event destroyed three buildings and left a hole in the 300 block of West Main. Since then, the city has worked to redevelop the area through projects including the recently opened Denison Visitor's Center and a firebird memorial statue.
