Thursday afternoon, Knight Furniture and Mattress was recognized with the Texas Treasure Business Award from the Texas Historical Commission. Sherman Main Street recognized the award with a special celebration at the store located at 108 W. Lamar Street in Sherman. The business has operated in downtown Sherman since 1912.
