Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that the Northbound US 75 entrance from CR 375 will be closed on Sept. 22, for about 3 or 4 hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
This closure is needed to safely perform the overlay work on the frontage road. Closing the entrance ramp will mitigate the potential for frequent instances of traffic veering off their lane. It will also mitigate the potential for driver confusion that may be caused due to two merge points located directly at the work area. The closure will allow for the hot mix asphalt to cool down before it is opened to traffic. A message board will be placed south of the ramp to alert drivers.
Drivers can continue north on the frontage road and use the entrance north of FM 121.
