Wednesday afternoon, the Denison Police Department provided information related to an investigation taking place in the city. In the news release, the department reported that some suspected human remains have been found.

“On Wednesday, July 30th, crews were mowing in a field near the 1100 block of Reba McEntire Ln. and located what appeared to be human remains,” the release said. “Denison PD responded, located the suspected human remains, and contacted the Texas Rangers, who have taken over the investigation.”
