SHERMAN – On Sunday, July 6 at 9:30 a.m., St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Sherman will celebrate Holy Communion with the music and prayers of the 1776 Episcopal Church.
A luncheon to follow.

Hungry for More of Jesus Bible Study
DENISON – Hungry for More of Jesus Bible Study group will meet on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Light Fellowship Church, 801 West Owings Street, Denison. The Bible study group was founded in 1974 by Minister Norma Milton and continues under the direction of Minister Effie Bowden.
This month’s study will be presented by Pastor Clifton Eaton.
Eaton is the pastor of Harmony Baptist Church of Sherman. Eaton previously lived in Kingston, Jamaica before migrating to the United State in 1982. They lived in Miami and were affiliated with the Metropolitan Baptist Church where he was the superintendent of the Sunday School and chairman of deacons.
Eaton graduated from the University of Miami in 1992 with bachelor’s degree in economics and education.
Eaton moved to Dallas where he attended Dallas Theological Seminary earning a master’s degree in theology. He has lead Harmony Baptist since 1995.
In July 2004, Eaton went on a two-week trip to Liberia, West Africa and participating in a training with more than 500 pastors, evangelists and lay leaders. The trip was sponsored by the Grayson Baptist Association and International Gospel Outreach Missions. Eaton is vice president of the International Gospel Outreach and he makes annual trips to pastors’ conferences in Liberia.
Eaton and his wife are the parents of three daughters.
