The Splash Bash in Van Alstyne marks the unofficial start of summer for the city. The event that serves as the kick off event for the Van Alstyne Public Library's annual summer reading program also included water fun at the Central Social District's splash pad, food trucks, appearances by some beloved characters, train rides and more.
