Grayson County is just days away from a the first townhall for individuals in the unincorporated areas of the county to learn more about the proposed county assistance district. Commissioners have been discussing the county assistance district for months and are presenting opportunities to the public for them to learn about the proposed district and the sales tax associated with it.

Starting Tuesday, westbound State Highway 91 from Broughton Street to Loy Lake Road will be closed for bridge demolition. The section of highway is expected to be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday until Wednesday.
