Last year, city officials announced plans to purchase a used trolley that had previously been used by downtown Abilene to shuttle shoppers and visitors through the city core. Now, a year later, city officials say the shuttle is almost ready to be put into operation.
The Creative Arts Center, Bonham (CACB) is celebrating the April 2025 National Poetry Month with its first “Poet Tree” event. Trees on the property will be decorated with poems submitted by local and global poets of all levels.
It seems that just as soon as one election cycle ends, a new one begins. Without a break, it seems like local officials, political party members and future leaders are asking area residents to take up certain issues and vote.
