The price tag for the overhaul to Denison's communications systems has gone up. The city council approved a $2.31 million change order to a contract with Motorola that will modernize radio communications for multiple city departments.

Spring is here and with spring comes baseball season. Opening day is on the same level as a national holiday for me.
A mother-daughter pair will be putting on a concert for the Texoma community at the beginning of April. Barbara Bacik Case and Lorna Case will be performing at 2 p.m. April 5 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1515 N Travis St., Sherman.
The next location for Texoma Regional Blood Mobile drive will be at the Sadler Community Center for those willing to donate blood. The drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at 101 N. Main Street.
