Crepe Myrtles bloom on new growth and should be pruned in late spring before leaves appear. Since Crepe Myrtles bloom late, you have plenty of time to prune in late February or March before growth starts.

Good Morning: A story comes to a close
Having worked as a reporter for more than a decade, I can easily say that one of the most rewarding aspects of this job is when you are able to see a story through from start to conclusion. This weekend, I will be able to see a story I started more than four years ago come to a close and bring closure to something that has been ongoing for nearly a century.
