It’s been cold outside! After the snowstorm earlier this winter I walked into the church office and commented that it's not fair that we have to suffer through the hot Texas summers AND these sub-freezing temperatures. During that cold spell, I noticed on my commute to church a small patch of ice at one particular corner.

The chill brings a sting to my skin and an ache to my bones. During these days, I layer in thought and cloth, covering my head with knitted designs.

The Austin College Service Station will host a silent auction of student artwork to raise funds for Tostan from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Campus Center, Johnson Reception Gallery.
