Speeding and distracted driving put workers lives at risk

There are several bond issues on the ballots for the 2024 May election. Grayson College, Whitesboro ISD and Tioga ISD each had school bonds on the ballots and voters put their support behind growth in location entities.

For the city of Denison, the past year saw preparation for both incoming and future growth alongside the challenges that come with said growth. As Denison looks toward future projects, including the 3,100-acre Preston Harbor Development, in the years to come, it must also find ways to fund these projects now before revenue streams materialize in the future.

The Texoma Regional Blood Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The blood center is located 3911 Texoma Parkway in Sherman.

For pets accustomed to a certain routine or way of life, having to adjust to great or sudden changes can be extremely difficult. For some pets, these changes can even result in a depressive state.
While we are enjoying some gardening downtime in front of the fireplace during the cold weather, it is a good time to make some resolutions to improve our gardens as well as our personal well-being. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an activity of moderate intensity, such as gardening, for 2 ½ hours each week can reduce the risk for high blood pressure, obesity, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, colon cancer, and premature death.
