Court Appointed Special Advocates of Grayson County is a non-profit organization dedicated to training and equipping community volunteers to protect children, empower families, and advocate for positive outcomes for those in the child welfare system. Since 1993, advocates have been appointed by District Court Judges to serve as Guardian Ad Litems for children experiencing trauma related to abuse and neglect.
Denison is continuing its ongoing efforts to identify and replace lead service pipelines throughout its water service system. The city council recently received an update on these efforts, including notification of unknown materials to nearly 8,000 residents.
