So, did you all see the story about the 8-year-old Ohio girl that took her parents’ car and drove herself to Target? This story amazes me. I don’t want to celebrate the bad behavior here, but I am going to say that girl shows some get up and go that should be developed and pointed in a positive direction. I read that she even shopped in the store once she got there and perhaps had a list of items she needed. Her Target haul is the only one I have ever wanted to see on social media. I mean what did she need or want so much that she couldn’t wait for an adult to take her to the store?Did she do the family grocery shopping or was she buying Legos and baby dolls?I saw a social media post that she even stopped at a coffee chain in the Target to get a drink.Just between you and me, dear readers, I don’t think this kid needs coffee. She was up with the birds and out doing her chores when most kids her age are still getting ready for school. Caffeinate probably isn't something she needs at this tender age.
