Road repairs, water system upgrades and other infrastructure improvements are among the projects the city of Sherman plans to pursue over the next five years through its new capital improvement plan. The city council approved the updated plan, which will guide city capital projects over the next five years, during its regularly scheduled meeting Monday night.
More that 20 young actors in Sherman Community Players Theatricks program are just a couple of weeks shy of opening their telling of what might have become of a long-ago Russian princess.
The updates to Sherman's city hall building now have a price tag. The Sherman City Council approved a $3.67 million contract this week with Allen-based Tegrity Contractors, Inc for a remodel of the building that city officials hope will extend the usable life of the facility.
