Though summer has barely started, some are already preparing for the holiday season 2023. One of the area’s biggest holiday attractions, Grayson County’s Holiday Lights, will see some new displays this year.

Even though the summer does not officially begin until mid-June, it seems that the season is in full effect in Texoma. From the lake to the pools, to the area shopping centers and parks, the outdoor season has really brought a lot of people into the region for the fun and relaxation that takes place around Texoma during the warm weather season.

Dear Abby DEAR ABBY: I am 76. My husband and I planned our final wishes for cremation because I have had a lifelong fear of being buried underground.

DEAR DR ROACH: I am 83 and in great health, with mountain biking about four times a week and generally staying active. I had atrial fibrillation (AFib) at age 75, which appears to have abated after two ablations; this was confirmed by Holter monitoring for two weeks, then an additional week last year. Additionally, I don’t have any AFib symptoms.

“I was prone to panic attacks since I was a kid — more like overwhelming fear. Not sure why. I made decent grades, had parents who provided, and had a dog named Buster that did not die until after I left for college.”
