DEAR ABBY: My husband and I were married nine years. He unexpectedly left me when COVID first hit. We were apart for a year and eight months and ended up divorcing. I filed because, even though I didn’t want to believe it, I eventually accepted that it was over. Even though he hadn’t actually filed the papers, he had taken all other necessary steps. It was the first time in my life I had ever felt this level of heartbreak.
DEAR DR. ROACH: I had a thyroidectomy, and I take levothyroxine. Instructions for the medication say not to take it within four hours of having calcium. No discussion of the drug has clearly stated whether this only refers to calcium supplements or whether this also includes high-calcium foods.

This week, Sherman High School senior Colman Scheibmeir signed a letter of intent for the University of North Texas. He received a vocal performance scholarship from the university. Colman was a TMEA All-State Choir alternate this year and competed at the state solo and ensemble contest. Local eateries performed well on their inspections from the Grayson County Health Department. The inspections reported for the last two weeks show no eatery made lower than a “B” grade.
