Following success at the polls over the weekend, Sherman and Denison Independent School Districts are moving forward with plans for district wide improvements. Officials with both districts spoke this week on what the path forward looks like following successful bond elections that will finance new campuses and other improvements in both districts.

BRASILIA, Brazil (AP) — Brazil’s Justice Ministry on Tuesday ordered Google to stop conducting what it called a propaganda campaign against Brazilian legislation aimed at curbing misinformation, or face about $200,000 per hour in fines.

Bloomer Sullivan Arena served as the backdrop as two commencement ceremonies were held at Southeastern Oklahoma State University over the weekend. On Friday night, master’s degrees and certificates were conferred, while on Saturday morning, baccalaureate degrees were awarded.

1938-2023 Bettye (Smith) Darrow, aged 84, passed away on May 3rd, 2023 in Ogden, Utah. She was born in Denison Texas on July 14th, 1938 and was the daughter of Mildred Banks and Charles Smith.
