STOCKHOLM (AP) — Swedish singer Loreen, who won the Eurovision Song Contest with her power ballad “Tattoo,” returned home on Tuesday, saying she was proud to be only the second person in Eurovision history to have won the contest twice.

Sherman man gets 25 years for sexual assault

Tevin Cargal, 25, of Sherman, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The sentence resulted from a plea agreement with the Grayson County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. The Honorable Judge Jim Fallon of the 15th District Court presided over plea hearing. The defendant will be required to register as a sex offender for life and a lifetime protective order will be ordered for the victim. The defendant must serve at least 12 ½ years before being considered for parole.
