Dr. Robert Charles Bergeron (Bobby) met his Creator Monday morning April 17, 2023 leaving behind his wife DeAnna, daughter Sarah, son Dustin, daughter in law Katie, grandsons Noah & Liam, sister Janet Brumfield, and many other family and friends. He served his community as a chiropractor for over 40 years changing countless lives through his care and spiritual guidance. It wasn’t uncommon finding him in a private room at his office witnessing and praying for a patient. He didn’t just help people’s bodies, but their spirit as well. He was a lover of music, especially guitars, and played in bands since he was 16 years old. To say guitars were a passion is an understatement. He was a thrill seeker who loved being on his motor cycle or in his motor home on an adventure. More than these things he loved his family and his God. He never hesitated to tell people how he was saved and what it meant for him. The void that he will leave behind is hard to describe. Everyone who knew him loved him, and he seemed to know everyone. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, of Denison, 601 W. Woodard St, Denison, TX 75020. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at First Baptist Church, of Denison, Friday, April 21, 2023. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W. Van Alstyne, Pkwy. Van Alstyne, TX 75495. You may sign the online register book at www.scogginsfuneralhome.com.

I woke up one recent morning to the sound of a particular morning tv personality’s voice which meant two things. The first was that I had overslept, and the second was that I had gone to sleep with the television on again.
