Most of the eateries inspected by the Grayson County Health Department in January and February 2023 made the best grade possible their recent health inspections. Sanitarians from the Grayson County Health Department routinely inspect all businesses that serve food to the public.

Muffins. Donuts. Juice. And, of course, Pop Tarts. All spread out buffet-style and ready to be consumed by Lamar Elementary fourth grade boys. But, this isn’t something that happens every day. Once a month, the school hosts a men’s mentoring breakfast to bring men from the Denison Community together with the boys as an opportunity for them to interact and socialize with positive male role models. When Lamar teacher Bowen Kirkbride sent out the interest letter, he received more than 20 responses from men that were interested.
