DISD holds town hall meetings ahead of bond election

This spring, the Denison Independent School District will be asking for voters’ blessing on a proposed $131.9 million bond for new facilities and expansion of existing campuses. In the lead up to the vote, DISD will be holding a series of town hall meetings to speak to the public about the projects, the need that necessitates them, and the bond funds that will finance them.

1922-2023 Our beloved friend, wife, mother and Nanny was led home on February 25, 2023. Marinan Whiting Washburn, age 100, was born July 5, 1922 in Savoy, Texas to Claude Vernon Whiting and Audrey Nora (Fox) Whiting.
